TCG TaiChuang FC Series Hardened Helical Gear Reducer covers the FC standard solid output shaft model and FCF flange output model, alongside extended derivative versions including FCA.B, FCH.B and FCV.B. Available sizes range from FC27 to FC157, fully meeting demands from light-torque light-duty machinery to heavy-load severe working conditions. Adopting modular design, the product supports six standard mounting positions M1~M6, compatible with horizontal, vertical, inclined installation and other diverse working scenarios. Machinery manufacturers can select appropriate mounting forms flexibly according to overall unit layout, greatly simplifying structural planning and shortening equipment R&D cycles.


In terms of structural reliability, the FC Series adopts high-strength hardened gear pairs processed via precise heat treatment, delivering high surface hardness, outstanding wear resistance and strong capability to withstand impact loads. Internal components feature high standardization. Gears, bearings, oil seals, parallel keys, circlips and other spare parts follow unified specifications with strong interchangeability, facilitating quick inspection and replacement in later maintenance. Full attention is paid to assembly details during product development. Clear standards are defined for fitting couplings, sprockets and gears on input and output ends to effectively avoid eccentric load and impact damage caused by improper assembly. Direct hammering onto shaft ends during fitting transmission components is strictly prohibited, protecting bearings, housing and output shafts from the source and extending overall service life. In addition, four optional motor terminal box orientations (R, B, L, T) are offered to adapt to various motor layout requirements and maximize assembly flexibility.


The lubrication system determines long-term stable operation of reducers. TCG TaiChuang establishes a standardized lubrication system for the FC Series. Each model and mounting position has calibrated lubricant filling volume specified in the official manual. Independent oil volume charts are provided for all FC and FCF sizes to prevent overfilling or insufficient oil leading to overheating, excessive wear and oil leakage. The reducer supports mineral oil and synthetic lubricants for selection based on ambient temperature. For regular working conditions at -10℃ ~ +40℃, VG220 industrial gear oil is recommended. Synthetic lubricants with corresponding viscosity can be adopted under extreme high and low temperature environments to guarantee low-temperature fluidity and sufficient high-temperature oil film strength.

Complete the first oil change after 200~300 running hours upon commissioning. For continuous long-hour operation, mineral oil should be replaced every 5,000 hours or once per year; the service interval for synthetic lubricants can be properly extended. Mixing different types of lubricating oil is forbidden.


The breather structure is engineered to accommodate diversified on-site working conditions. Units under long-term storage, inclined installation or variable placement must be fitted with breather valves. Threaded plugs are installed as temporary substitutes before delivery. Prior to formal commissioning, customers must replace the threaded plug at the highest position with the matched breather valve and remove the protective rubber ring on the breather. This balances internal housing pressure timely, prevents oil seal bulging and lubricant leakage, and lowers the risk of oil seepage. Furthermore, TaiChuang compiles standardized troubleshooting procedures for common issues including oil seal leakage, abnormal noise and output shaft seizure, enabling maintenance staff to quickly locate faults on site.


Comprehensive maintenance support eliminates customers’ worries throughout usage. TCG TaiChuang specifies standardized maintenance cycles: conduct routine inspection every 6 months or 3,000 running hours to check oil level and leakage status; replace lubricating oil, bearing grease and oil seals periodically according to lubricant category and operating oil temperature; inspect housing protective coating regularly to guard against rust and corrosion. Clear operation guidelines are provided for oil seal replacement and oil change. Maintenance work can only be carried out after power cut and cooling down. Grease should be filled between the two sealing elements of the dual oil seal structure. Every operational step is standardized to reduce equipment damage caused by improper manual maintenance.
